Traceability management
Thanks to its compact marking head and long fiber cables (up to 5 m - 16.40 ft) connected to the control unit (CU), the MOPA laser engraver adapts to your layout, without compromise.
The laser marking machine head can fit in tight and industrially dense environments, in any orientation, while the CU remains in a cabinet.
The control unit, being separated from the head, can be isolated up to 5 meters (16.40 ft) away from the marking zone, protected against particles and dust emanating from plastic and metal laser etching, as well as the surrounding environment. Additionally, the metal mesh dust filter on the CU helps protect the electronics and the laser source.
The multitude of communication options on the MOPA Laser engraver enables it to work with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and robot arms, seamlessly integrating into any production line to meet traceability requirements.
PROFINET, Ethernet IP, Ethernet TCP/IP, and RS232 interfaces, as well as dedicated I/O and USB ports, make it easy to connect to your fieldbus for automatic control without a PC.
Gravotech offers a dedicated support service to help customers set up a marking verification and reading system directly on their production lines.
This service ensures that the marking has been done correctly and within the client’s specifications, guaranteeing the traceability of their products. Our laser marking machines are compatible with many camera suppliers.
High-performance reading cameras are usually bundled with lighting, auto-focus systems, and protective lenses. Once set up, the combined camera and laser software can monitor several operations such as:
N.b.: Every feature of the above list may not be available depending on the camera supplier.
The eZ Laser axis is a motorized accessory designed to adjust the height of laser marking heads along the Z-axis, accommodating parts of varying sizes and shapes.
Compatible with Gravotech industrial laser marking systems such as the MOPA laser, it features a maximum stroke of 295 mm (11.61'').
Directly connected to the laser's control unit, the eZ Laser receives marking jobs and commands, while its 7-inch touchscreen enables operators to select and launch marking tasks, monitor machine status, and, of course, adjust the marking head's height.
Designed for easy integration into production lines, industrial workspaces, or custom enclosures, it boasts a compact design, dust protection, limit switches, and convenient mounting holes.
The Mini-inline is a compact Class 1 laser nose that ensures operator safety without the need for a custom-built Class 1 enclosure. Its flexible and modular design allows seamless integration in any position and is fully compatible with robotic arms and linear actuators.
This makes it particularly suitable for marking large parts such as engine crankcases, large shafts, stamped panels, turbine blades, or other extended components.
Together with the MOPA industrial laser marking system, it delivers a compact, secure, and highly adaptable solution for high-precision laser engraving.
